Barrackpore woman killed in suspected home invasion

A BARRACKPORE WOMAN is believed to have been killed during a home invasion on January 25. Merril Sabessar, 65, was found dead in a pool of blood on her bedroom floor around 1.30 pm while her house appeared ransacked and her white Nissan Tiida was missing. She was last seen alive on her front porch around 6.30 am that day. Homicide Region Three is continuing investigations.
