Charles, Cariah and Govia bowl QPCC to only TTCB victory

Govia led the way in the second innings with four wickets for just six runs, while Cariah got three for 33. Cariah had match figures of seven wickets for 60 runs, while Charles had match figures of six for 53, and Govia finished with five for 19, as the three spinners shared 18 of the 20 Merryboys wickets in the match. Elsewhere, at Preysal, the home team fought back against Powegen to force a stalemate. Responding to Powergen’s 353 for six declared, Preysal scored 220 for nine at stumps. Justyn Gangoo finished with an unbeaten 56, while Sachin Seecharan contributed 55 for a share of the spoils in the rain-affected match.
