Senior Reporter sascha.wilson@guardian.co.tt Reynato Sanchez and his family continue to search for his elderly stepfather, Frank Lovelace, who has been missing for almost a month. Lovelace, 85, suffers from Alzheimer’s and was last seen walking away from his home in St Augustine on February 24. Despite reports from members of the public claiming to have seen him in San Fernando, there has been no tangible evidence of his whereabouts. The family has offered a $2,000 reward for any information that could help locate him. Sanchez said, “We are hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.” In a telephone interview yesterday, Sanchez, a police constable, said they have been searching and following up on all tips tirelessly, but so far, they have not found him. Due to Alzheimer’s, Sanchez said, his stepfather can sometimes become aggressive, but he has urged the public not to harm him if they encounter him. Sanchez said Lovelace had no money or bank card with him when he left home. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the police, the Hunters Search and Rescue Team, or call 484-4767, 305-7418 or 340-6280.
