Trio killed in Laventille attack

Shane Superville An early morning shooting in Laventille ended with the deaths of three men, police say. Sources confirmed that Keon Alexander, Dwayne Alexander and Jesse Nelson were liming outside their home at McShine Lands, Laventille, at around 1 am when they were confronted by a group of men with assault rifles who shot them before escaping through nearby tracks. Officers of the Port of Spain Task Force were called in and found the bodies of the men. A district medical officer was also called in who declared the trio dead. Police said the trio were relatives and all lived at the home. Region I Homicide investigators are continuing enquiries.
