TTT chairman elected to executive of Scrap Iron Dealers Association

Michael T. Kerr, Chairman of TTT, was elected Second Vice President of the Trinidad and Tobago Scrap Iron Dealers Association (TTSIDA) during the group’s Annual General Meeting, on Saturday 28 March 2026 at R & A Supermarket Hall, Enterprise Street, Longdenville. The meeting also saw the re-election of Allan Ferguson as President, with Erros Seejattan appointed First Vice President, Willetta V. Wilson as Secretary, Razia Rea Mohammed as Assistant Secretary, Verna Prudhomme as Treasurer, Vincent Ian Paul as Assistant Treasurer, and Nicole Dookie as Public Relations Officer. Trustees appointed are Adupson Toby and Anson Baboolal. The new executive combines extensive experience in the scrap iron industry with expertise in business communication, media relations, financial management, and project management. Members also unanimously approved a resolution to change the association’s name to the Trinidad and Tobago Metal Recyclers Association, with steps now underway to formalise the change.
